Design 2375 92 Motoryacht

This preliminary design was never built but I thought it an interesting profile study so we are publishing it here. It is based on an earlier design, Mania Two (design #2234) which we will post about shortly. She was to be built of aluminum. Target top speed was to be 18 knots.

43 Meter Trideck Motoryacht Preliminary Design

This seems to be a popular size as we have done a handful of proposals in this size range. This trideck motoryacht was designed in 2009. She is designed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The boat is a full displacement hull, powered by twin Caterpillar C32s.
Here are the general arrangements for upper and lower decks.

Design 1816 Chelsea 46 Motoryacht

I happened to stumble upon this design the other day and it's one I had never seen before. This 46' wooden raised pilothouse motoryacht was designed in 1964 for Packanack Marine Corporation of Newark, New Jersey. Perhaps the company was named after the lake in New Jersey which bears the same name.
This little piece from Yachting magazine of 1966 shows a Chelsea Yacht and attributes it to Sparkman & Stephens but on closer inspection it does not look like the same design as shown here and I can see from the files that the 46' was the only boat designed for Packanack.

Here is the general arrangement and inboard profile.

This twin screw motoryacht was built by John Trumpy & Sons of Annapolis, Maryland and was delivered to her owner in the summer of 1957. Accommodations include two guest staterooms and three in crew. Headroom is 6'-8" throughout.
Construction is typical S&S: white oak framing, mahogany planking, teak decks and Everdur fasteners.
Here are the plans.
