Design 2074 Zaida
Zaida was constructed of wood by Driscoll Custom Boats of San Diego, California in typical high quality. She continued a trend of similarly styled boats such as Brush Fire, Pemaquid and Chimaera that came before her. Typical characteristics include a light and airy interior, roomy cockpit, beautifully selected and finished woodwork and excellent sailing performance. The boat was launched in 1971 and based in San Francisco. An exact sistership was to follow.
Here are the plans.
