Design 2585 Hylas 49
This design is built on a production basis by Queen Long Marine of Taiwan, and marketed by Hylas Yachts of Marblehead, Massachusetts. The 49' is an evolution of the famous Stevens 47', design #2390 with over 80 boats built to this design. Improvements include refinements to the interior layout, deck layout and an integral set of swim steps in the transom. That's hull #1 of this new series nearing completion back in 1992.
This is a true blue water cruising yacht, capable of world travel. The Hylas 49' is also a very successful bareboat charter boat. Click here to follow the link to the Hylas Yachts website to learn more about the boats.
Here are the plans.
